Terrain
We have 66 km2 on Mount Tsuius in B.C.'s Monashee Mountains with 4800 vertical feet of peaks and bowls, down through the trees, glades and cut-blocks to the Shuswap River. From Garnet Ridge in north, to Mimulus Lake in the south, our guests have the sort of variety usually reserved for heli-skiers.
Above the tree line, we have roads to 5 areas of alpine ridges and peaks, rising to an elevation of 7800 feet. With our lodge located in the
center of the skiing area, our snowcat quickly transports you to the best ski terrain.
Below the tree line, we can choose from many treed or naturally-gladed runs descending through the spruce forest into the cedar canopy forest. Cut-blocks like Stumpy's Garden provide open, exhilarating skiing.

Snow
Blessed by phenomenal average annual snowfalls of nearly 60 feet, the Monashee Mountains offer even the highly accomplished skier a wide variety of
snow blanketed terrain. The reliable and versatile snowcat takes you to some of North America's most challenging ski slopes over which you'll cut tracks where no skier has ever before parted the snow.
People
The staff and the guests are here for the same reason ‚ they love to ski and 'board. We pride ourselves on the casual, homey feel. Powder skiing brings out the best in people, so, share a story, share a drink and make some new friends.
We also pride ourselves on our professionalism. Our lead guide has either ACMG or UIAGM guiding qualifications, and we pay close attention to all aspects of safety. Our chef will provide delicious meals served family-style in our lodge. The rest of the staff, along with your hosts, Nick and Ali Holmes-Smith and Tom and Carolyn Morgan, will go all out to make a trip to Monashee Powder Adventures your best skiing experience ever.
Adventure
It starts with our guests driving themselves to the lodge on new Polaris snowmobiles. Enjoy our back country lodge with a 360 degree view of the fabulous Monashee Mountains. Join us in exploring our area, as we are still finding new runs in our vast terrain.
